The remake of the 1980 thriller film The Burning Train is on the go. The Producer Juno Chopra along with Jackky Bhagnani has been shaking hands for the remake of the film.

Bhagnani took it to twitter to make an official announcement of the same. Bhagnani writes, “Delighted to announce the remake of #TheBurningTrain in association with my dear friend @junochopra. A classic by Ravi Chopra sir. I Hope we do justice to the magic that he created years ago. @vashubhagnani @honeybhagnani @poojafilms #BRFilms”

Bhagnani says that The Burning Train is a film that he grew up watching, and he is sure many of us did. It’s a classic Bollywood and he is thrilled to be working with his friend Juno to try and recreate the magic that Ravi Chopra sir had done years ago.

It’s a film with its heart at the right place and we are all set to give it our all. Bhagnani adds in his statement.

The movie had a storyline in 1980, where Vinod Khanna had designed a superfast train Super Express after giving his six years to it. However, Randhir aks Danny Denzongpa who was also designed for the train. But his design gets rejection. As an act of revenge he plans to place a bomb on the train during it’s run from Delhi to Mumbai.

As the blast happens and train catches fire. Dharmendra as Ashok who is Vinod’s friend tries to save live of the people. He tries to save people along with the other passengers Ravi and Rakesh the roles played by the Jeetendra and Vinod Mehra.

The 1980 version of the film being directed by Ravi Chopra. The father of Juno Chopra. He is very excited to remake his father’s film.

Juno Chopra says, he is very excited about his collaboration and The Burning Train has always been his all-time favorite.

It was directed by his dad, He is very excited to make his version of the film. Currently, they are on the verge of signing the director as well as the lead cast, which will be their next announcement. For more recent updates of Bollywood stay tuned with us..!
